Chili Cheese Fries

What you’ll need

  • 5 potatoes
  • kidney beans
  • tomato sauce (canned no salt added) add your own so you actually get the amount you want and not to much sodium
  • diced tomatoes
  • chili powder 
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • 2 large carrots steamed
  • 2/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/3 to 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons of Bragg coconut aminos
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne if wanted
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

 

Instructions

Potato fries

Pre-heat oven to 465

-Cut up 3 potatoes into a fry shape and place them on non-stick foil into the oven

 

Chili sauce

rinse and drain kidney beans 

-place kidney beans, tomatoes sauce, and diced tomatoes into a pot (add as much as desired)

-add in garlic powder, onion powder, and lots of chili powder (again as much as desired) salt to taste.

 

Cheese sauce (this recipe is not mine. You can find it on the Engine 2 website)

steam 2 potatoes and 2 large carrots

-place those in the blender along with the rest of the ingredients and blend to make your cheese sauce.
